Background

Problem:

Zordaar, a contemporary Indian restaurant, aimed to introduce authentic Indian flavors with a modern twist and unique USP – The First Indian Restaurant in the UAE to offer over 75 dishes from 16 states. The agency was tasked with creating a comprehensive brand identity and go-to-market strategy that would position Zordaar as a prime destination for Indian food enthusiasts.

Solution:

AARK Marketing Services spearheaded the entire launch process for Zordaar, starting from logo design to post-launch PR and Social initiatives ensuring a cohesive brand experience.

Logo Design:

The development of Zordaar’s logo focused on blending traditional Indian elements with a modern aesthetic. The logo featured clean bold typography and an easily recognisable unique element – the Golden Z along with a tagline – BOLD INDIAN FLAVOURS to convey a sense of vibrancy and authenticity.

Positioning & Strategy:

Zordaar was positioned as a premium dining experience offering authentic Pan-Indian Cuisine with an innovative twist. The target audience was defined as food lovers seeking a rich culinary experience in a contemporary setting. The strategy included identifying unique selling propositions such as bespoke dishes, chef specials, and cultural storytelling through food.

Menu Design:

The agency collaborated closely with the head chef to create a menu design that highlighted regional Indian dishes while incorporating modern presentation techniques. The design was visually appealing, using rich colors and elegant typography that echoed the restaurant’s brand identity.

Photography and Videography:

Professional photography and videography sessions were conducted to capture each Restaurant feature from the food to the mocktails to ambience to staff to festive specials. These high-quality images and videos emphasized the vibrant colors and intricate plating of the dishes, ensuring they were visually enticing for marketing materials.

Launch Event:

The launch event was designed as a culinary festival, inviting local influencers, food bloggers, and members of the press. The evening featured cultural performances, fun interactive games, food tasting and live interviews which generated buzz and excitement around Zordaar’s opening.

Social Media Strategy:

Social media campaigns were implemented in three phases: pre-launch, during the event, and post-launch. Pre-launch, teasers showcased the logo design and chef introductions. For the event, live updates and behind-the-scenes content engaged followers. Post-launch, we shared customer reviews, user-generated content that highlighted the dining experience including ambiences, signature dishes, festive specials and the staff.

PR Campaign:

A targeted PR campaign (Pre, During and Post Launch) was executed to secure features in leading print and digital platforms, social coverage by Media and Influencer, radio promotions and giveaways. Influencers were invited to experience the restaurant at the opens and continuously thereafter, leading to positive reviews and significant media coverage.

Digital Presence:

The agency developed an engaging website for Zordaar, featuring the menu, booking options. Additionally, a Google listing was created to enhance local SEO.

Paid Advertising:

Paid campaigns on Meta and Google Ads were launched to drive traffic to the website and increase reservations. The campaigns highlighted unique menu items and promotional events, targeting food enthusiasts and local residents.

Festival Activations:

Leveraging Indian festivals and International Days of Importance, Zordaar hosted special events that catered to cultural celebrations, integrating event specific decor, unique menu items, and interactive workshops to attract diverse patrons and ensure repeat visits.

Results:

Within the first 30 days of launch, Zordaar saw a remarkable reach of over 390,000 users, generating over 4,000 leads, and driving an engagement of over 37,000 interactions. It was featured in leading Publications like Khaleej Times, LoveinDubai, Gulf Buzz, Curly Tales and Big 106.2.

Conclusion:

Through cohesive branding, strategic marketing, and engaging experiences, the agency successfully launched Zordaar as a standout destination in the Indian culinary landscape, merging tradition with modern living and laying the foundation for sustained success.
